Common Questions About Pulse
How often does Pulse track crew location?
Pulse captures GPS location automatically every 15 minutes via background tracking. No manual input is required from field crews. Location data is also captured at every event transition (clock in, enroute, arrived, etc.).
Does Pulse work without internet connectivity?
Yes. Pulse is offline-first. All events are queued locally using MMKV encrypted storage and sync automatically when connectivity is restored. Your crews never lose data, even in remote areas.
What devices does Pulse support?
Pulse is available on both iOS and Android. iOS users get the additional benefit of Live Activity on the lock screen showing elapsed time, last pulse, and active job info.
Can we customize the event types?
Absolutely. Companies can define their own event types, requirements, and workflows. The standard lifecycle (Clock In through Clock Out) is configurable to match your specific field processes.
How does Pulse integrate with payroll?
Timesheets are auto-populated from Pulse event data. Clock in/out times, job-linked hours, and break durations flow directly into payroll processing — eliminating manual time reconciliation entirely.
